Malkit Singh (Man With the golden voice) Thanks to Tarlochan Bilga. He has become No 1 Singer in Britain. His singing in Khalsa college jalandhar made him known throughout all the colleges where he won several awards and appeared on radio & television. In 1983 he won the gold medal at Guru Nanak University, Amritsar with his favorite song Gud Naloon Ishq Mitha'Boliyan. Malkit is also the founder of golden star and has enjoyed success since his arrival in UK they have toured Canada twice very successfully and presently they are working on their fourth album.
Tarlochan Singh Bilga One of the founders of Indian pop music in Britain being in the business for 19 years started with 'Bhujhangy Group' in 1969 and preformed on stage & television and won several awards including three consecutive 'Best Asia Band' awards in Britain from 1975-1977 inclusive during this time he released 5 LP's & 15 Albums and became one of the top bands in 1983 he left bhujhangy group he went to India and discovered Malkit. He recorded an album in Uk and made golden star Uk; First cassette (Nach Gidde Vich) which was released in 1986 and followed by the great success of ' I Love Golden Star' in 1987, now he brings you his latest 'Bhangra 88' (Putt Sardaran De), and is involved in a video film of golden star.
